A registration desk will be set up in the Heritage-listed Foundation Building from Monday 20 - Friday 24 September 2004.

Accommodation costs are extra and details of booking procedures are included below.

 

Payment of fees must accompany the registration form.  Confirmation of registration and accommodation will be sent to all conference delegates on receipt of registration forms.  Visa, Bankcard and MasterCard are the only credit cards accepted for payment of registration fees.  International delegates wishing to pay by cheque should provide an international bank draft, in Australian Dollars and drawn on an Australian Bank.  Cheques should be made payable to “Australian New Crops Conference”.  All fees quoted are expressed in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

 

A Tax Invoice will be issued with the receipt of registration and should be retained for your taxation purposes. Unless otherwise requested in writing at the time of sending the Registration Form, the Tax Invoice will be in the name of the delegate. 

 

Registration fees cover the following:

·         Attendance at all the conference sessions

·         Morning / afternoon teas and lunches

·         Delegate satchel and Conference Handbook

·         CD containing Conference Proceedings (mailed to your nominated address)

·         Conference Dinner*

·         Welcome Reception*

* Bookings must be made on the registration form

Delegates MUST advise the Conference Secretariat by fax or email the day the payment is made. The only way your registration can be identified is by receiving advice from you that electronic payment has been made. This advice should include your name (if possible when making the electronic transfer attempt to have your name added to the transfer) and the transaction reference number. 

 

Cancellation policy

·         All cancellations of attendance must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat

·         A full refund, less a cancellation fee of AUD$50 will be made on those received before 20 July 2004

·         A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made on cancellations received between 20 July - 10 September 2004

·         No refund is possible for cancellations made after 10 September 2004

·         Accommodation cancellations received after 20 August may forfeit the first night's deposit

·         Refunds will be subject to the cancellation charges levied by the accommodation venue

·         Accommodation deposits will also be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the requested check-in date

 

Refunds will be issued after the Conference.  Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the Conference after submitting a registration form and payment are most welcome to nominate a substitute.

·         30 April 2004          Receipt of abstract, as an email attachment file in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Rich Text

·         30 June 2004           Notification of acceptance and supply of Speakers’ Kit to all authors

·         31 July 2004            Receipt of full papers (for both oral and poster presentations)

·         31 July 2004            Early registration available for the Conference
