Info search is a personalised research information service provided by the Queensland Department of Primary Industries to deliver tailored strategic and research information to the primary industries sector.

Professional library information specialists use the resources of international databases, the Internet, the network of the Primary Industries Library and other specialised DPI search services to assist subscribers by:

searching for information on a topic,
providing information from on-line, CD-ROM databases and the Internet providing world coverage on primary industries and management topics,
providing Internet training,
supplying regular update services of new books and articles in a
nominated area of interest,
providing customised industry, management and library update bulletins, and
providing access to nominated journals and copies of journal
articles.

Examples of DPI Infosearch information requests include commercial production of new crops, farm viability and profitability, ostrich and emu chick diseases, crocodile management etc.

Any claims made by authors in the Australian New Crops Newsletter are presented by the Editors in good faith. Readers would be wise to critically examine the circumstances associated with any claims to determine the applicability of such claims to their specific set of circumstances.
