This Conference has the theme ' Successful Horticulture for the Future' and will cover the marketing, innovation, integration and sustainability of tree and nut crops. The range of tree crops to be examined has been extended and, in addition to fruit and nut trees, will include perennials and shrubs, tree symbiots, timber and tree crop processing.
The Conference will be held in conjunction with Farmarama, a major horticultural industry trade show at Wollongbar TAFE College. Tours will be conducted on one day of the Conference to local spots of horticultural interest.

Third National New Crops Symposium
Indianapolis USA
Preliminary advice has been received that this Symposium will be held in Indianapolis in the fall of 1995. The symposium is being organised by the Indiana Centre for New Crops and Plant Products and will emphasise the technical aspects of new crops and new uses. The theme of the Conference will be New Crops, New Uses, New Technologies.

Australian New Crops Workshop
Queensland, Australia 1996
This is being planned as a National Workshop and will be held at The University of Queensland, Gatton College in the first half of 1996. Gatton College is situated about 80 km from Brisbane and has full residential facilities.
More details of this workshop will be given in the next issue of the Newsletter.
